Refund Policy

Economic Trends and Business Review (ETBR) is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent publication process. However, the journal does not charge authors for submitting or processing manuscripts, and therefore, does not offer refunds in relation to submission or publication fees. The journal follows a free access model, making its content openly available to all readers.

In cases where fees may be applicable (such as for open access publication, if introduced in the future or in special circumstances), the following terms would apply:

1. Refund Eligibility:

  • No Fees Charged: As of the current policy, ETBR does not charge submission or processing fees, nor do we request payments for manuscript publication. Therefore, no refund requests will be considered under the present fee structure.

  • Future Fee Implementation: If, in the future, any fees are introduced, authors will be informed in advance about the payment structure. Refunds will be provided under specified conditions, such as in cases where a manuscript is withdrawn before publication or if a duplicate payment is made.

2. Refund Process:

  • Should a fee be charged for publication in the future, the process for refund requests will be clearly outlined in the submission guidelines, and authors will be notified of the procedure to request a refund.

  • Refunds may be processed in cases of technical or payment errors, duplicate charges, or cases where an author withdraws their manuscript before final acceptance.

3. No Refunds for Manuscript Rejection:

  • As no fees are charged for manuscript submissions, there are no refund requests applicable for rejected manuscripts. Submissions are assessed based on academic merit and relevance to the journal's scope, and decisions are made following a rigorous peer-review process.

4. Exceptional Circumstances:

  • In exceptional cases where the journal or its platform is found to have made a significant error (e.g., processing delay or system malfunction) that prevents proper handling of an author's manuscript or publication, ETBR will work with the author to resolve the issue, though refunds are unlikely to be issued unless a new fee structure is introduced.
